Dennis was born and raised in Stockton California where he graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Class of ‘63. In 1966, he acquired
an Associate of Arts degree from San Joaquin Delta College.
He traveled to Thailand when he joined the Air Force from ‘66-‘70. After his time in the military, he once again studied art at both the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and California State University.
Before commencing upon a permanent career, Dennis dabbled in sales/marketing of Kodak cameras for the JC Penney’s stores in Chicago, and Stockton. He also worked as a postal clerk in the US Post Office #498 and after high school, he worked a few years loading/unloading ships at the Port of Stockton. He then had a commendable career of 33 years in the title business where he advanced to Title Officer and worked in numerous offices until his retirement in 2007.
Dennis loved to bowl, golf, play ping pong and later, pickle ball. Dennis made a lot of friends on the golf course and stayed in contact even when he was no longer able to golf. He was fun loving and would participate in any game. He enjoyed watching the weather and tracking the amount of rain. He would have made a great weatherman. He also found great pleasure in watching old time television shows. He never missed an episode of Judge Judy, not even the re-runs.
Dennis had a great sense of humor and made others around him laugh. He was a good friend to many and maintained a life-long friendship to Dale Neitzel.
Dennis had a sweet disposition and an easy-going manner. He especially loved his wife, Robin, of 44 years.
Dennis is survived by his two brothers, Don and Jack Reule, his favorite cousin, Susie Halton, and his adoring wife, Robin - his very best friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
